Glan y Môr holiday cottages Vale of Glamorgan are found on the Heritage Coast, between the historic town of Llantwit Major and the village of Wick, and 7 miles from the market town of Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan.
The holiday cottages are 20 metres apart, and with separate entrances and different outlooks, they are ideal for friends to enjoy holidays together; but also offer complete privacy from each other should you so wish. The cottages are well equiped with everything you need for a fantastic and memorable holiday.
The cottages are down a single track lane with no through access which means there is little or no traffic to worry about. You can have peace of mind that children can play safely out in the fields enjoying the Welsh sea air, and if it is coastal walking you are looking for we could not be in a better location.
Dramatic coastline, sandy beaches, historic churches and castles and only 35 minutes from Cardiff city centre by car or rail. Glan y Môr holiday cottages Vale of Glamorgan surely is the ideal place to stay whatever your tastes.

Glan y Môr and Tregwynt self catering holiday cottage are found in the heart of the Vale of Glamorgan Heritage Coast. 28 miles of dramatic coastline with world class beaches offering the best conditions for kitesurfing, surfing, sailing or just relaxing and looking in rockpools; and with a back drop of precipitous cliffs you can’t help but be overwhelmed with the breathtaking scenery.
Just inland you’ll find historic towns and villages, home to atmospheric and Olde Worlde pubs and taverns which consistently win awards for the quality of their ales and welcome. It goes without saying that you can relax next to roaring fires in the winter and enjoy their gardens and regular live outdoor music in the summer.
There is a range of restaurants in the area to suit all tastes and budgets ranging from Italian and Bistro style restaurants in Llantwit Major to the more formal restaurants of Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan – all a few minutes drive from the holiday cottage.
Take-away restaurants also cater for a plethora of tastes and most will deliver to the holiday cottage, making that evening meal at home simple after your days adventures.
This holiday cottage is new to the market for 2012. A more traditional feel this converted barn is set in a bluebell wood with a view over open countryside of the Vale of Glamorgan. Sitting in the clearing in front of the house, one can watch the sunset from the comfort of your garden chair, listening to the hubbub of the wildlife settling down for the night.
Tregwynt holiday cottage is one of two self catering cottages, privately situated down a single track lane on the stunning Heritage Coast of Vale of Glamorgan. The contemporary accommodation has an entire frontage of glass which best allows one to enjoy the spectacular panoramic views over the countryside, the heritage coastline, and the Severn Sea across to Somerset.
The holiday cottage is nestled in the corner of a 5 acre field with a shallow pond which is teaming with wildlife and surrounded with stunning views. So you can enjoy a glass of wine on the patio of an evening watching the swans fly in to roost and enjoy the tranquility of the surround countryside. The cottage is surrounded by farmland with a rich variety of wildlife including buzzards, greater spotted woodpeckers and weasels. The Vale of Glamorgan Heritage Coast stretches for fourteen miles from Aberthaw to Porthcawl with the coastal walk a breathtaking journey past cliffs, coves and sand dunes, with wildlife abound and rich in history.
